Appearance::

Adam Kohaku is tall, lanky standing at about six feet and three inches. He tends to stand out in a crowd which is not necessarily a good trait for a skilled hunter to have, but he makes do. Though he is very skinny, Adam keeps himself well in shape with a daily workout routine. He has plenty of muscle mass regardless of his skinny frame, and often he wears clothing to show off his hard work.

From the head up, he often gets mistaken for a woman which he has gotten use to by now. His hair is long, falling passed his back when not pulled up. His hair is also tinted blue and covers up majority of his forehead. His eyes are dark blue and seem to carry a silent hatred. He simply deals with drunkards who hit on him in bars, but when he is angry those are usually the men who he uses to express his frustration.

The color of his skin is very pale. There are a few tattoo markings upon his left shoulder and left peck. His clothing is usual dark and seem to help to give off vibes of wanting to be left alone. Adam’s body language usually expresses a want to be left alone entirely, of course not everyone is capable of reading him.

Normal Attire::

On the hunt, Adam wears tight shirts with loose enough pants. He keeps the colors of his clothing dark and tends to where either gray, black, or dark blue. Upon his feet, the hunter wears black leather boots that go up to his mid calf. He usually carries two katanas upon his back, preferring not to use guns and such weapons to hunt down wolves.

Personality::

Quiet, hateful, and standoffish, that is really what describes Adam Kohaku. He only likes the company of few (few being Kaine and Lina). People, in general, annoyed the hunter, and he tried to avoid them as much as possible. He has no interest in making many friends, since most were backstabbers, liars, and simply not trustworthy. The world has not treated him kindly, so he keeps plenty of hatred in his heart toward the world.

He keeps his emotions, to the most part, to himself. If he has free time, he usually spends it training or reading. Never hurts to polish up the art of the blade or to continue to make the mind keener.

Adam is not a dry character, though. He has a since of humor whom those closest to him only know. He can laugh and smile, though those events are very rare.

History::

When he was abandoned, Adam could not say. His parents had left him when he was very young, too young to remember if they had even been alive. All he could remember of his childhood were the nuns who took care of him in the poor orphanage he was dropped off at. They had taken care of him until he had decided to leave the orphanage.

Rundown was an underestimate to describe the living conditions at the orphanage. The nuns were not given enough money to take care of all the children who had been left there. They lived surviving off of donations from the public and from the churches. Often the children were lucky to get two meals a day. When there was food upon the table that was when the struggle between the children began. Children stole food from others and often fought each other. This was where Adam learned how to be violent to get what he wanted.

Hatred was also learned at the orphanage. How many men and women had gone through there picking other children before him? They often turned their noses up when they passed by young Adam. He was never good enough for those couples. They often wanted cute little girls who had sweet smiles and pretty voices. They often wanted sweet little boys who would tell them everything they wanted to hear. Adam could never speak to those men and women. He could never fully look at them. He was always dirty and unworthy.

Adam was always a smart pupil to the nuns. He learned quickly to bring smiles from them and to get candies that younger nuns smuggled in for him. One young nun in particular had cared for him so greatly. When the orphanage was being taken over by the city and some of the orphans being taken away and put to work, she would be the one to hide Adam.

At the age of seven, Adam made his life on the street. He stole to feed himself. Truly everything that he had to get he stole. He slept where he could often in alleyways. He often wandered from place to place after people started to notice his thievery.

When he was becoming a teenager he came across the katanas he so dearly loves. Adam came across an old man who he had tried to steal from but was unsuccessful. The man did not report Adam to the police, instead he punished the boy by making him work. The old man ran an antique store. There lived the two katanas in the back room, and Adam took a fancy for them instantly. Long story short, the old man offered to give Adam the swords if he worked hard, stop stealing from the town, and swore to learn how to use them.

Shorty after leaving the city where for once Adam had worked for something he desired, he ran into two other orphans: Kaine and Lina. Kaine was a year older than Adam, and Lina was a year younger. They were not instantly friends and often ran into each other under unfriendly circumstances. They were all completely different than each other, but eventually they found out how truly alike they all were. Adam was at odds with becoming close to these two orphans, at first, but he found that they were the family he so craved. So, in the end, they made their own family and gave themselves the last name of Kohaku and have been close ever since.

As of recently, the Kohakus have found themselves hunting wolves. Killing wolves brings in the income they so need. Adam never did like dogs, and to him wolves were just wild dogs.
