[Kaine Kohaku]

Amber eyes stared to the red bricks that held this place together. The figure leaned forward over the bar tenders table, and let out a dramatic sigh. The lights flickered off and on, and loud music started happening. The bass shook the ground, and across where the figure had been sitting, was a dance floor, filled with many people dancing.

It had been slow lately. No orders. The figure stretched out, and crossed his legs. His hair had been pulled back, so his bangs stuck up, to show the crossed over his fore head. Every one new who it was. He was a hunter, some called him a murderer, some called him a savior. He thought they should all call him sexy. He chuckled, and spun his chair to face the dance floor.

”Here you go, Kaine. The normal right?” Kaine held out his hand and he felt the glass touch his palm. He smiled, his teeth where bright and white compared to his bronz skin. Some people wouldn’t believe that was his natural color, he held out his other hand and another cup was placed on his palm, as he walked up to a woman.

The woman had a blouse on, but it was unbuttoned to her stomach, her tank top under it stopped about just above her nipples. He grinned, to the bleach blonde girl, and looked down. She had a short skirt on. He set the drinks on an empty table, and grabbed her by the shoulders and spun her to face him. He smirked to her and she seemed dumb founded at first.

But she stared at him with her brown eyes. Bleh, he was a light eyed type of guy. Oh well. He started dancing with her, she seemed in shock, but she started dancing with him. He had been dancing until he leaned over to her ear. ”Baby girl you want it all? How about you jump in bed with fame?” he spoke, she giggled to him a light blush on his face.

He hated the modest type.

[Adam Kohaku]

The beat was loud, and most would have found it inviting. Normal teenagers would sway their hips, bounce their heads, and tapped their toes to the sound of the music. Erotic dancing would then commence and nature would take its course. However, Adam was no ordinary eighteen year old, and he was not looking for a sensual beat to thrash his body about to.

The wolf hunter entered the club with no want of hooking up with barely dressed bimbos. He had no want of showing off what dance moves he possessed. Hell, he wasn’t even the mood to get a few beers and get wasted. There was just one particular person who was in the club who he wanted to find (and not for sexual reasons).

The tall, long haired Kohaku searched the people with dark blue eyes. He soon landed upon the other Kohaku who was in the club. Kaine was the predator tonight, and he was about to prey upon some naïve little girl.

Adam made his way through the crowded club. He soon found himself behind Kaine with his arms crossed. His dark clothing made him appear a bit menacing compared to all of the bright colors people wore to the dance area. He wouldn’t be surprised if the girl Kaine was trying lure in became intimidated with this dark figure behind the man she was dancing with.

The girl let out a giggle, and leaned into kiss, but she paused. Kaine blinked.”What’s wrong bab-” he was rudely interrupted and a pain hit his face. He hit the ground, a bloody nose. He may have been one of darcia’s greatest hunters, but he was just a teenager. The ground was hard, and it stunk of something, maybe old sex. His eye twitched and he could see the dark figure loom over him.

Cockblock. But it was his best friend. ”Adam, I swear to ass, I am going to kick your god.” he spoke, and blinked. Wait a minute that didn’t sound right. He blinked and rubbed his fore head, before grabbing the drink that was for the girl and giving it to Adam. He could hear the beat of the music from behind them, but he ignored it. Adam Kohaku, had been a brother to him. They all had given up, or repressed their last names. All they did was become a family. That was all he needed.

He sighed and walked to the chair, and placed one foot on the table, and leaned back, really he was just checking out the girls standing on the railing behind them. He chuckled, and looked to Adam.

”So what’s good?’ he heard some rumors about Adam getting messed up by a few wolves, but he also heard Adam took care of it. He set his other foot on there, completely relying on balance to keep himself up. He smiled and stared to her.. I mean him. The reason why the girl more then likely slapped him because she thought Adam was his girl friend.

You suffer a lot when your best friend is androgynous. A smirk came to his face.

[Adam Kohaku]

Adam gave out a laugh when the girl had smacked Kaine. Every time a girl laid into the older Kohaku seemed to be a priceless moment in time that was worth more than anything else. Though, Adam could only speculate why the girl even hit Kaine; he found the slap most humorous. His laugh was more of a taunt than anything to his brother.

The wolf hunter took the drink handed to him, but he had no want of drinking it. In fact, he threw the liquid behind him, allowing the drink to spill over the floor. Adam followed Kaine over to the table. The hunter leaned against the table, watching the other show off his good looks to any girls who had wandering eyes. This was definitely typical Kaine, but that was fine. Adam had become accustomed to how his sibling acted around pretty faces.

“When is anything good?” the long haired Kohaku asked. “Everything is usually just the same, and anyways, you tend to know what happens to me before I even know. I am sure you heard about my battles with wolves and all of that. Of course, there are probably some encounters that have not reached your ears yet.”

Adam sat the glass down upon the table, crossing his arms. His wrist had healed nicely, and he was back to his normal affairs of tracking down wolves and killing them. Injuries never lasted long; he was glad to be a fast healer.

[Kaine Kohaku]

He chuckled softly, then blinked as a group of girls slipped behind Adam. He snorted then laughed, it might have been heard over the music also. He snickered, and ran his hand through his hair, and he leaned forward into the table and stared at his brother. Then a grin grew on his face, as a girl in a very short skirt bent over to help them up. Ehehehe.

He sighed and when the commotion ended, he looked back to his brother. ”I hear around, although most of them are rumors. I would never guess you to let a wolf best you, and live. So is it true?” he spoke, with a yawn and a shrug. As he hummed along to the techno song ~Fuck all those haters, fuck all those foes~

He looked to his brother, waiting for the answer, and he paused as the girl from earlier came back. With three big guys. ”He’s the guy who did it!” she spoke pointing to Kaine, he chuckled, and his bangs where covering his fore head. ”Okay uglies, how about you shoo away your face is starting to hurt my eyes.” he spoke with a grin.

The biggest of the man chuckled, ”I am going to make you swim out of here in your own blood, pretty boy” he spoke and his massive fist came down towards Kaine, he held up his hand, and he caught the fist. Kaine smiled and pushed his palm into the man’s elbow, pushing it so it was inverted.

”I don’t think you guys know who we are. We work under Darcia.” the music cut and the lights turned on, a few people started to exit out. More then likely wolves. The others stared dumb founded.

Yup, Leave it to Kaine.

[Adam Kohaku]

As Adam was about to explain what had happened, the girl along with three guys came strolling back up. Really? Kaine didn’t really do anything to that broad. So, why was she coming back trying to start trouble? Sigh. Some women could never take a hint.

The wolf hunter was instantly on his feet as one of the thuds threw a punch at Kaine who instantly blocked it. He knew that his brother could take care of himself, but this was beside the point. No one was just going to walk over and start throwing punches at Kohakus without the other siblings retaliating. The three guys picked the wrong people to mess with tonight, and this would be a deadly mistake.

And then Kaine opened his mouth again. Well, now everyone knew who they were. Good job, Kaine. He was just asking for more attention than what was required. People were exiting while others were coming in for a peek at what was about to happen. Adam could deal with an audience, though he’d rather there be less people around. He didn’t need all of these eyes on him as he was beating the shit out of three ‘tough’ guys.

“Regardless of who we are, you three are going to wish you never listened to that whore.” Another of the three came charging over, this one was going after Adam this time. The wolf hunter was able to avoid a punch to the face. Adam sent a foot directly into the man’s face, and the sound of teeth cracking echoed off the walls.

[Kaine Kohaku]

Kaine had still gripped the biggest man’s arm, and he jumped up landing on it, and he brought his fist to the man’s shoulder, the bigger they are the harder they fall. The man had fallen on the ground as if he was nothing but a great old tree, and Kaine had been a mighty axe man. The man stayed on the ground groaning in pain. Kaine winked at the girl, who ran off in fear.

The two other men paused, and stared at Kain and then they went to punch him, he grabbed both of their fist, the force how ever made him slide back to the table. His eyes widened as he saw some one run towards Adam...that was a mistake he gripped the men’s fist tightly, until the cracking of their bones could be heard, he brought them to their knees. He looked over to the men who rushed Adam, they seemed to stop, staring the cracking echoed through out the club.

The two had been screaming in pain, He looked over to Adam. ”You didn’t get any blood on your shoes did you,Adam?” he asked, as he jumped up one foot hitting one’s chest, the other hitting the other’s chest, the cracking of rib cages could be heard along with the sound of shoulder blades snapping. Kaine turned to the men that went to rush at Adam. An deep glare at them, and hatred emitting from his body.

No body...would ever touch, harm even threaten his friends..no one.

[Adam Kohaku]

“Just a bit of blood,” Adam said to Kaine. It had been a long time since the wolf hunter had to actually fight humans. The movements of a man were much different than those of a wolf. Humans were much more predictable, and they were much slower than wolves. Truly, these men were idiots for thinking they could take on two wolf hunters who trained in the art of killing creatures who lived off of the speed of their limbs and the strength of their fangs.

The man who Adam had kicked seemed not to learn his lesson. On the contrary, the man became enraged and was blindly charging at the hunter. Adam was able to move around the thug with ease and grace. He took his time with his punches and kicks, making sure each one was more powerful than the last. The man was soon on his back, yelling in pain as blood spat from his mouth.

And then another man. When were they going to learn? Adam and Kaine were two guys they should not mess with. Look at all of their friends! They were all crying like babes from a few punches and kicks.

The man charge, and Adam dodged. The wolf hunter landed a few punches to the guy’s face, and with a spin, Adams planted his heel firmly on the side of the man’s face. The man landed with a loud thud upon the ground and didn’t get back up.

[Kaine Kohaku]

A gun shot rang through the area.

”NOW ! you hooligans get out, Kaine what did I say about getting in trouble, hello Adam!”[/color] a short woman barked. The club owner. The woman was rather filled to say, she had her hair pulled up, it had been gray. Crows feet were noticeable. They listened, fortunately for them.”Everyone out now!” she shouted, sheparding the large group out of her club. She sighed once they were all out.

”Oh did you die your hair, hilde? You look love-” ”Can it lover boy, your antics arn’t going to work on this old hen. Your paying for the damage you put on this club. “ she commanded mainly towards Kaine. ”It’s normally quiet Adam, this is a jazz club. I don’t know why I listened to your brothers ideas.” she spoke with a nod of her head, as she started to wipe off tables.

Kaine crossed his arms grumbling to himself and sitting down at the bar looking to Adam. ”So where were you?” he asked leaning back in the leather chairs, as he watched the old woman clean up. His eyes closing. Rumor was, that a young wolf had summoned the courage of older wolves to pin them down, his brother had died and the wolf got away. Well it had to be a rumor, cause he was speaking to his brother.

He leaned forward on the waxed table and crossed his legs, pulling his bangs out of his face. The wolf would have had to be good and strong..different to fight and get away from his brother. He knew this much for sure.

[Adam Kohaku]

Adam was glad to see all of the people being pushed out of the club. He had already lost his patience with all of the men who thought they could take on two of Darcia’s wolf hunter. Adam had wanted to relax and pester his brother; instead he had to deal with thugs.

“It is good to see you. Sorry my brother decided to destroy a few things in your club,” Adam said to the club owner. “I will be sure to make him pay in full for everything he has vandalized.”

The hunter gave a laugh as he followed his brother up to the bar. Adam sat down next to Kaine and leaned back against the chair, comfortable. He placed his foot up on his knee and examined his boot which had spots of blood on it. He took one of the napkins at the bar and wiped away the crimson liquid from the leather.

“Well, I was about to tell you how the fight went with the wolves,” Adam said as he placed the napkin back on the counter. His blue eyes moved back over to his brother. “I am sure you have heard plenty of rumors. None of them are true, of course.”

The wolf hunter let out a sigh as he thought back to his previous battle with wolves. “The one that got away was much stronger than the usual. There was more life to her. She gave me a few marks and got my wrist messed up pretty badly. That was all, however. Nothing was fatal for me.”

[Kaine Kohaku]

He blinked. More life...? What..most of the wolves were hope less. He felt bad for them..but more life. This was rather odd. He looked down, and his eyes focused on the table. How odd. That would not be good. If she shows such pride in the way she moves..then. It could spread like a wild fire during a hot summers day. His eyes widened. She got away too..she was strong then and fast.

Even though on the surface he was calm and ready. ”Looks like my little brother is getting a little rusty!” he chuckled leaning forward and pinching Adam’s face, chuckling. He continued chuckling before letting out a sigh. ”That’s it. She’s probably like the rest of them in every way.” he spoke quietly.

He scratched his chin. ”If you saw her human form we could probably track her down. Was she hot?” he asked with a grin elbowing his brother, he always liked joking with his brother. ”But on to more important matters, when are you going to cut you hair...wait no..that will make you look like a lesbian...hm..maybe wear your shirt open, so you can show people you don’t have breasts...but then they’d think your gay...wear a wedding ring!...but then you couldn’t get any...hmm..” he spoke, then he was smacked over the head.

”Be nice to your brother,Kaine.” the old woman growled a broom in her hand as she smacked him over the head again.

[Adam Kohaku]

Kaine was concerned with this wolf; Adam could tell. He could read his brother like an open book with plenty of pictures and big, easy to read words. The other Kohaku was trying to hide his concern, but what was not said was definitely written in his eyes. A wolf who took pride in being a wolf was definitely trouble. Most wolves Adam had encountered were just trying to survive and walked with no purpose; the one that got away had a reason for living.

On to the taunting. Adam was use to it, but supplied his brother with a loud sigh and a glare. In truth, the wolf hunter had become attached to his extremely long hair. He had no want of chopping it off, so he would not allow any razor to cut off his lengthy dark hair. So, he endured the jokes of Kaine all the time, and he endured all of the people who mistook him to be a woman.

“Yes, be nice to me, Kaine. I am the only brother you have,” Adam said with a laugh. “Anyways, some girls love my sensationally lustrous locks.” The hunter ran a hand through his hair. “I can even attract some of Oakum’s beauties.”

[Kaine Kohaku]

“Hilde can me and my brother talk alone please.” he spoke seriously. Hilde looked to him, and sighed. Throwing keys at him. He caught them easily. ”Lock up boy-oh.” she spoke before grabbing an umbrella. Oh it’s raining also. she spoke before walking off closing the door shut. Kaine didn’t speak until five minutes after she left.

”Do you think..she was a wolf of paradise?” he spoke quietly. He leaned into his brother as if to whisper. ”We need to hunt her down brother.” he spoke quietly and looked towards the door before leaning back into his chair. Sure Kaine could tend to be foolish, but he tried to take the burdens off of everyone, over all he was a good brother.

He sighed and leaned back. He didn’t know if he had to kill this paradise wolf..or if Darcia would want her. She was sly enough to get past Adam, and that’s pretty damn good. He jumped over the counter and grabbed a bottle of whiskey handing it to his brother as he got his own whiskey bottle out. He popped open the lid and drank some putting his head back as the warm liquid gushed down his throat, and burned his taste buds. He could drink, he was just never as much as a drinker as his brother has been. Speaking of drinkers. Where had that skank of a sister been? He thought blinking.

A wolf of paradise. Kaine was starting to sound rather worried about the wolf that got away. Of course, maybe they should have all been worrying from the beginning. Regardless, she was a wolf, and Adam agreed with needing to hunt her down. He should not have allowed her to escape the first time, and that was his mistake.

Adam opened up the whiskey bottle and tossed back a nice gulp of the alcohol. His bones and his muscles seemed to relax as the fire liquid rushed down his throat and into his stomach. Whiskey was a nice way to relax after blooding a few nasty men. The wolf hunter could hardly be worried when he had good alcohol in front of him.

“We will hunt her down and kill her; don’t you worry my dear brother,” Adam said with a smile. “She got away from me, yes, but there had been other wolves about that time. If both of us go after her, she has no chance in hell of getting away again.”

The hunter drank down some more whiskey before propping himself up on his elbow at the bar. “If she is a wolf of paradise, there might be more hovering about now,” Adam said. “Once one has faith in the world, they all start to find it. We may have an epidemic of prideful wolves who want to open paradise. I think this is the perfect opportunity to make it big as wolf hunters.”

He stared to his brother, and sat down against the wooden table, and leaned back. He stared to the ceiling. ”Brother, don’t put so little faith in the wolf.” he smirked and chuckled softly. He highly doubted she had been a paradise wolf...but still a wolf that is living for something. He laughed softly and rested his feet on his brothers shoulders.He laughed. ”She might just be a challenge, didn’t you know. It is the end of the world.” he chuckled softly to his brother.

He sighed, and his arms went behind his head, and his bottle of whiskey was next to him. He stared towards the ceiling. He wouldn’t mind a paradise wolf or even a paradise pack roaming around. It would be a nice challenge for a while, not even police officers where a challenge and that was a sad truth. He paused and looked to his little brother. He didn’t under stand why some people hated wolves. He didn’t mind them, he hooked up with a few for a night. They were nice. Kaine only killed wolves that were on his hit list, or the ones that harmed his brother and sister.

”Don’t worry about it brother, the wolves around here know that pride means death.” he spoke and moved his feet from his brother and kicked his whiskey up and he grabbed it with his other hand, even when there was no one around, he was the biggest show off.

He heard a loud crash of thunder. He looked towards the door, it was a bad one this time. Normally this area wouldn’t get rain, but when it did. It was bad.
