Why did it seem as though Adam followed his brother about wherever he ended up? Kaine had told Adam he would be in Atarise City, so what did Adam do? The long haired hunter followed after his brother to the city. Well, after a few run-ins with a few wolves. The one that had gotten away before had gotten away again. That seemed to be his luck lately.
Night had fallen over the city, and Adam made his way around the streets. He knew the best times to look for his brother. Kaine was quite nocturnal and lived for the sounds of the nightlife. If Adam was to find his brother, it would be after the sun had set. Truly, his brother was not the hardest person to find. He seemed to have a trail of common followers. Not to mention, Adam was a wolf hunter; humans were simply just likes wolves only easier to track.
The heat of the day had cooled off quite a bit, and the streets were rather inviting. The long haired Kohaku had no problem with the temperature regardless, but he did enjoy the cool breeze that now passed through the city.
His boots hit the ground going off towards where most of the clubs were located in the city. Adam had been relaxing near a fountain in a park, but now that the sun had gone down he was in search of his more attractive brother. This hunter tried not to be as bold with his appearances and kept his shirt and pants black this night. His two katanas were on his back, just in case there would be cause to use them. He never knew what to expect with his brother. Kaine was quite unpredictable, and they often found themselves in an array of trouble on most nights.
Adam gave a sigh as he paused upon the corner of the street. Where was Kaine?

Kaine had been just about to leave the city, when he heard two men talking bout this hot chick, with no boobs and blades on her back. He grinned, why if it wasn’t his little brother. But. He stopped turning to the men. ”That was my brother.” he spoke to them. ”I don’t care if she thinks she’s a woman in a man’s bo Kaine had ran at them, bringing his knee inbetween the mans ribs.
”I do though.” he spoke rather coldly, as the man started to spit up blood, falling on his knees. ”Look at that, face down with another man pounding your face in.” he chuckled and looked to the other one, who had been crying. ”Which way did he go?’ he questioned acidly. The man paused, and murmured weakly Kaine didn’t under stand him, but the man pointed towards the park. He grinned, and ran off.
He had only been running for a few minutes, before he saw a great fountain. He smirked, he had an idea. He jumped behind his brother lightly, so not even his brother could hear, and he placed his fingers over his brothers eyes.
” ‘Sup, buttercup.” he said, not doing a fairly good job at disguising his voice. He didn’t really care though, his brother had done him a favor. He was leaving this city to find his brother. Low and behold, his brother found him.

Adam was not startled as he felt his brother’s fingers slip over his eyes and darken his vision. He simply let out a sigh and a shake of his head. Kaine had found Adam first instead of Adam finding him. That was fine; this saved the long haired hunter some time. Instead of wandering around the city, all he had to do was sit in one spot.
“If you were trying to sneak up on me, you failed,” the younger Kohaku said. “I could smell you a mile away. Your scent is much too familiar and much too strong for me to not notice.”
The wolf hunter slipped away from his brother’s hands and looked up with dark blue eyes. Really, Adam had not been expecting to see Kaine outside of a club at this hour. Kaine was usually on the prowl for some pretty idiot to take home. His brother had to have something on his mind, and of course Adam was going to find out.
What a family they were. Adam often wondered what their parents would think if they all had been born from two people. Of course, the hunter had trouble even knowing how parents acted in general. The only parents he had were the nuns, and they could not keep such parental bonds to the orphans. Orphans often were taken away from the orphanage and found families of their own. Adam, however, was not like the rest of the orphans.
“I assume you want to speak to me. You do not have girls following you around or one on your side groping at you. So, sit down and start explaining.”

He paused, and jumped out of the fountain’s water. His boots had became disgustingly wet, and he didn’t want his feet to start to stink. He landed on the nicely made path, next to his brother and grinned. Then sat down next to him ruffling his own hair with his hand. Really he didn’t stink, in fact he smelled like old sex and something minty fresh, bitch.
He blinked and leaning back, barely touching the water, as he acted as if he was laying on a reclining couch, both legs out and crossed, and his arms pillowing his head. He closed his amber eyes, and paused. Blowing air out of his mouth, and he opened one eye. Thinking. What did he want to explain, heh, leave it to his brother to know him like the shine of his blade. He sat up and did a little jump in the air as he stood up.
”Well...I was thinking.” he began.... Wow, really that’s interesting Kaine. Yup, you can think!..Adam would know that when a sentence started like that, from Kaine. It would never be a good idea, well most of the time that is. In battle it would be like Kaine was a completely different person to be honest. It was like, two halves of the same whole. One half was stupid, and clusmy. The other was a strategic killer. This was Kaine believe it or not. The family and Darcia would know this much, everyone else. Well they were fucked if they too him for granted.
”I want to get myself a girl! A loyal one, that will always stick by my side, and doesn’t complain when I go off and get another girl.” he spoke, as one of his feet drew circles into the ground. He grinned, a toothy grin to his brother. His teeth seemed to shine through the darkness.
Man, Adam would be mad.

Adam watched as his older brother moved about in his usual strange way. He was full of energy tonight, which could not have been good especially when he had no girls to spend that energy on. Kaine would become a ticking time bomb of almost destructive energy. He was after something.
I was thinking… That was never a good start to any of Kaine’s sentences. So, he had been thinking of something that he had to put pass Adam. That meant even more trouble for the long haired hunter. Lord only knew what Kaine was wanting when he said such things to Adam. Some trouble would come with this; he already knew.
“Oh, no,” Adam said, shaking his head slightly as he placed his forehead onto his open palm. Kaine wanted a loyal girl to stick by his side, and he was not talking about some ditsy whore. Oh no, Adam already knew where this was going or at least he thought. Kaine wanted some animal to follow him around as if he were a god. Had he not done this already?
“No, no, no, no,” the long haired Kohaku said as he shook his head. “You are going to get some dog, and not take care of it. I don’t plan on cleaning up crap or remembering to water the thing. No, Kaine, no. Bad idea. Just get it out of your head already. What would you do with a dog anyways?”

He blinked, and frowned at his brother as he said no to his idea. ”But, you havn’t even let me finish!” he spoke throwing his hands to his sides, and stomping his foot once, Adam could see three cracks appear at the force. He would often forget about his own power at times, to be truthfully honest. He crossed his arms, then let out a soft sigh relaxing his body.
”Well, she’s a wolf. She’s the most gorgeous creature i’ve seen, she knows how to move her body, and she’s going to hunt wolves for me..and you.” he spoke with a grin, before scratching the back of his head as he narrowed his eyes to his brother and smirked. ”I’ll train her myself if I have to!” although he was pretty sure that Lord Darcia would let him use how ever he trained wolves to listen to him.
Although he did not think looking for her would be hard. In fact he knew it would not be hard. He grinned victoriously at the thought, his arms crossing. ”Oh come on Adam! Like you don’t need help with that wolf that got away!” he spoke, then shrugged his shoulders leaning back on particularly nothing to be exact, him looking to his brother for an expression to show what he was thinking.
He really from the beginning planned on telling his brother about the wolf girl, but he didn’t really care about what his brother would say yes or no. He was just running it by his brother to be nice that is.

Adam let out a long sigh that seemed to stay in the air for quite the time. A wolf. Figures. What else could he have expected from his brother? No common dog would quench his thirst for power. If Kaine was to have a pet, it would be a wolf, of course. His brother loved such thrills. Wolf against wolf, what a wonderful situation. Adam still did not like this idea at all.
“Stop throwing your tantrum; the answer is still no,” Adam said to him. “Knowing you, you’ve picked out the hardest to train wolf of the lot. You did not find some weak, dim minded create. You’ve found one who would fight you to her very last breath and even then not want to submit. You always come up with the craziest, most dangerous schemes. One day, your ideas are going to kill you, Kaine.”
The long haired Kohaku knew how stubborn his brother was. Kaine would not listen to his reasoning. His brother was even trying to convince him in finding use in such a wolf. Sure, Adam had let a wolf get away twice (but Kaine did not need to know about the second time), and, sure, maybe a bit of help would be nice. However, the younger of the two would not see the good in this idea.
“I know that you are too stubborn to listen, and that you are already formulating plans on how to get this wolf you have targeted. Just know that I care about you, and I don’t want you to get in too over your head. I know your strengths and your weaknesses. Don’t let such a wolf too close to you.”

Kaine paused, and stomped his foot again, lines dancing around his feet. He wasn’t really upset over it, but that’s how every one would expect him to. He didn’t really want to do this. He planned on getting a wolf any ways, but not just any wolf. This wolf could hold her ground, run her pack, this wolf had been smart, and beautiful, she had been as pure of a white, it wasn’t just her personality that attracted him, but a handsome man like himself, should hold beast just as hand some, or in this case...stunning.
She didn’t have an ounce of fat where it didn’t belong, she could control a crowd. He grinned at the thought and looked to his brother. He blinked, then remembered the whole reason why he brought up the wolf thing with his brother. ”What color was the wolf that attacked you?” he spoke, his arms crossing as he walked up to his little brother. He had been hiding something from Kaine, but that had been fine, Adam would tell him some time soon, and if not...well he could do some snooping around and figure it out as soon as he could. Being a hunter...you earned friends in all the right places. But really he didn’t find himself being stalked by his brother, so why should he?
The only real person he was worried about his wolf was Lord Darcia. If Lord Darcia said no, it would be a no. He only feared Darcia because Darcia knew his weakness. He closed his eyes and a memory from his child hood sprang, kids had been making fun of Adam. He paused, and saw his younger self defend his friend. Adam with out his blades...well he didn’t exceed in hand to hand combat like he did. A pleasant smile entered his face, and he looked down at the thought. Him and his siblings had grown so much. But his mind changed back to the current thought. Darcia was sick enough, he’d throw away every bit of his followers for paradise. To be honest... he didn’t really care for Paradise a lot. It just sounded like some sort of vacation home..or something. He even doubted that it existed.

Kaine would throw his pretend tantrum; this did not bother Adam one bit. In fact, this just made the wolf hunter smile and then begin to laugh a bit. The long haired Kohaku shook his head at his brother’s antics. He would get over his brother decision and hold no hard feelings. He would keep a close eye upon whatever wolf Kaine had in mind.
Now, his older brother changed the subject, and Adam was not too thrilled about it. Back to the wolf that had gotten away… twice. How many times did he have to be reminded? The image of the wolf came back to his mind again. Black fur, markings upon the face, slender form. The image would not simply leave his mind. Now his brother wanted more of a description.
“Black fur,” Adam said to his sibling. “She had black fur, and there were markings upon her face as though she had been branded by a noble. She is very unique compared to the other wolves and very easy to pick out in a crowd.”
At least in Adam’s mind, she was very easy to pick out. They had already ran into each other too many times without one of them being killed. She had made a simple getaway last time, letting him live. She would not continue to get away, though. This hunt had to end at some point.
“I am surprise you aren’t describing this wolf you are lusting after,” the wolf hunter said with disgust. “I thought you would be jumping at a chance to talk about such a wolf. A wolf that has caught your attention amongst thousands of other females.”

Kaine paused, as his brother described the wolf. His eyes looking to the ground, as he touched his fore head. She had been marked by a noble. He gripped his fore head. He felt bad for the wolf. She had been marked, because she had been a wolf. But him? He had been mistaken for one. He gripped his fore head and winced before, taking a step back he remembered the pain..how excruciating it was. He looked down, his golden eyes filling with pain, before he shrugged the thought off.
He smirked and then decided to mess with his brother.”huhmph..that sounds like my wolf..” he spoke quietly, playing a worried look on his face. He let a few minutes pass, and before he let his brother flip on him, he chuckled.”Joking!” he said in a sing song voice, cracking his shoulder blades, and looked to the sky. In fact, his wolf was the exact opposite, beautiful pure fur, that was the color of a moon, it was like her hair, which reflected any lighting against it. He paused and finally stood up, she had golden eyes..and she wasn’t like any other wolf he saw before. She mingled with humans, mingle wasn’t the correct word. It was rule over.
He turned his back from his brother. ”Just don’t kill any silver female wolves lately.” he spoke before waving off his brother, and starting to walk towards their home. Well Lord Darcia’s home, he didn’t care really if his brother followed or not, he didn’t have enough time to explain his pet’s beauty, his brother would see her.
