It had been night time; most people had been out partying. The woman limped around. Her clothes bloodied, dry blood. But it was too dark for anyone to spot it. She stopped, and looked and looked up. The moon had been weak here...had it given up on the world? Like mostly every thing else. Her coal eyes darkened in pain, as she grabbed her hip.Clenching her teeth tightly, as she almost fell to the ground. Her eyes closed, she would never give up. The sun, the moon and the plants could give up..but she...she would never. She looked up, and started walking again, her shoulders back as if to show her pride.
Her nose twitched, birds..big birds. She ran towards the scent, her turning into her great wolf form. As she ran to the scent, she seemed to blend into the night, except the odd markings on her forehead and face. She ran, and turned a corner, jumped forward as she landed on a massive crow.It squaked, and started to peck at her face, she bit down on it’s head, and threw it against the wall. The body flying forward. The crow had been a size of two ducks. She stared to it. Crows had been growing massive in size, due to all the garbage around. She went to the bird, and bit down on it’s rib cage, eating it’s innards. Blood going over her face.
She stopped, then turned to her side, licking her wounds. Her blue eyes shining through the darkness, brightly.

Moonlight hardly managed to filter past the clouds, its luminous silver light unable to penetrate the wicked clouds that covered the sky. Even in the season of summer, the entire city seemed so cruel. Harsh and unforgiving. Even in the only season in which it didn't snow. The only remaining season in which the iciness of world's end didn't manage to make it through to others. This place was just.. Despite all its flashing lights and beauty, at least to the humans, it was no fit place for a wolf; not even for a small wolf such as the tan one which padded through the shadows of the streets. It could pass for a dog, but dogs had collars. And wolves did not.
There was just a foreboding, menacing atmosphere about this place.. And Tanjun didn't like it. Not one bit. So, as he neared the end of another shadow and into an illuminating light, his light brown paws became human feet, clad in typical black shoes. His bodice went from the smaller than normal frame of a wolf to the about average frame of a boy.
Running a hand through his slightly ruffled hair, he pulled his jacket closer to him, before walking leisurely. It was natural, to act human. But he didn't like it, and sometimes, he worried that it showed.
Suddenly, he smelled blood. Wolf blood. And then he heard a squawk and a light thud, smelling more blood. Bird blood this time. Then again - it didn't matter much to him what kind of blood it was; he was going to head for it anyway, whether to help or to find a meal, or some other reason. Blinking his sapphires, he took one step back, and then broke into a full fledged run, nimbly dodging the occasional obstacle as he followed his nostrils.
Soon, there came a massive shadow from many buildings, as if it was a near alley. Leaping into it, he landed as a small wolf again, his fur now appearing brown to black in the shade. His golden gaze scanned the dark area, searching for the sources of blood scent.
Eventually, he found icy blue eyes, which melted into the body of a female black wolf. There was a darkness about her that worried him, and he nearly took a step back.
"Uh-Uhm, hello?"

She paused, and through her blood and the birds blood.Had been a new scent, she stood up weakly, putting less weight on her wounded side. She growled, and went quiet as a small figure hit the ground. She was smaller then it, but it was because he was male. A small male. She stared to it, as if unknown how to react. She paused, and looked to him, before tilting her head. She placed her weight on the wounded side also, to try and show the wolf she wasn’t afraid. She winced, and ignored the pain coursing through her bodice.
”Hello..” The markings on her face, shined brighter then her eyes. If he knew anything about nobles, it was a sign that showed. That at one time, she had been captured by them. Her nose twitched, and she stared down. He seemed harmless. She laid down and started to work on her wound again, her tongue running across the wound. It hadn’t been long, but it was deep, which worried her because it would take longer to heal. She looked to him, ”You can finish it off, if you came to mooch.” she spoke, as she paused for a minute, staring at him, her ears perked back, and she looked to him. Then her ears twitched, as she suddenly got up, and then lunged forward, a small rat. She dropped it down next to the dead bird. She crunched her teeth together, and she ripped open the rats stomach as she chewed on the piece that had been in her mouth.
Then went back to licking her wound.

A look of shock flickered across his golden gaze as he raised his head, his lobes perking forward. Markings. Markings that glowed, so much more luminous than even a wolf's cerulean gaze. And that was saying something. She was a victim of the nobles, no doubt. Not even pollution could give such markings. Only a noble could..
"You can finish it off, if you came to mooch." His lobes twitched back a tad. Mooch. That wasn't what he would consider it.. Oh well; his stomach was fixing to growl. Then again - there was one issue. As he bowed his head a tad, he noticed her wound. It seemed really.. deep. A frown came to his lips; she probably got into a fight with a noble or a hunter or something..
His tail lowered a tad. "I wish I could have helped you there," he mumbled, avoiding her eyes. They were pretty, yes, but he was afraid of eye contact with her because.. well, it just seemed unsuitable. And his point was basically proven when she ripped into that rat of hers. Then again, Mina had nearly attacked him when she first saw him, yet warmed up to him quickly.. perhaps this wolf wouldn't try to kill him, too. Then again, everything was unpredictable.
Flicking his lobes, he padded soundlessly over to the bird, gnawing on a part of it as he observed her licking the wound. Perhaps he ought to stick closer to her until she healed completely? He didn't like to fight, but he could if she needed it.. Then again, he doubted she cared for his help. Oh - whatever.
"What happened?" She'd know his name a little later.

She paused, her tongue stuck on her wound. As her ears perked up, at the boys mumbling. She blinked, and looked to the wolf. ”I had help, and she died.” she said getting up and looking to the wolf. She ignored the coursing pain in her side, as she rested down, on the ground. Then with a snap, he could hear her start to devour the rat. She could feel the tear of the skin, as she placed one paw over it, and pulled. Enjoying the meat. She felt her claws dig into the rat, and she started at it ravenously.
After moments, the only thing left of the rat, had been it’s tail. She rested there, cleaning her paws, ever so throughly, then her tongue running over her lips a few times. She winced, turning her head, and starting to lick her wound clean again. The taste of her own blood, causing her fur to perch up, but only when she had been in pain. She clenched her teeth tightly, as she stopped licking her wound. Her blood had stopped flowing a little bit ago. She still would have that fear of infection though, she could fight man. But when it came to infection, she knew it could kill her.
Her ears twitched, as the wolf questioned her wound. ”A noble, he killed two of our kind while I was there.”She spoke, as she looked up, a snarl on her lips at the thought of wolves dying around her. ”So..I fought him. She held his wrist, while I came at him.” he could see her body shaking, as her fur perched up, his ears would twitch, as her claws dug into the ground, a nasty snarl coming out of her mouth. ”Then the police came..I should have killed him there...I could have..” the wolf fell to her stomach, and she laid there, her cold blue eyes closing, as he heard a soft whimper escape her lips.

His lobes flickered, as if faltering, and then they shifted backward, lowering toward his skull, though not exactly touching his cranium just yet. Nobles. They were always so cruel, so ruthless.. It saddened him quite a tad.
Padding over to her, Tanjun kept silent, his own stealth keeping his movements from making noticeable sound. Though she probably would have seen his close approach after devouring that rat; after all, he was basically right in front of that rat. Then her snarl stopped him in his tracks; lobes now flattening against his skull, he lowered his head and tail. But a moment later, he began to approach her again.
Suddenly, she crumbled to the ground, and her signs of vulnerability caused him to whimper faintly himself. Reaching her, he nuzzled her gently, closing his golden gaze as her black fur brushed up against his face. "They'll be safe. They're on a path that can't hurt them,"
he murmured into her fur, disregarding the fact that, at any time, she could lunge and rip a bit of him off. Or just rip him apart. No need to pull much there. Shrugging away his concern and worry of being torn apart, he flicked his tail, giving her another nuzzle. More tender this time. And he shifted to lay beside her, careful as to not brush against her side. "The nobles won't win this." So perhaps he had a way with words. But his tone remained soft and kind, clearly stating that he wanted the world to end in innocence and serenity, not remorse and chaos. He wanted the world to know their own Paradises. He could see her ears flicker back and forth as he approached her. He was silent, but she already knew that he had been on the way to check her out. He must have not been that much of an older wolf. He had been rather naive, she opened her eyes a little bit, so it appeared her eyes were still closed, but she had been watching him observantly. He seemed to walk towards her, but he stopped as if wondering if he could go any further. She closed her eyes again. She had been on the ground, the kill’s scent had stayed in her nostrils. She turned to her wound, licking it softly.
Her fur perched up, as she felt the warmth of the male placing his head against her own, she paused and he whispered into her neck. She turned and rested her own head on his own. He was a smart runt. She closed her eyes then let out a sigh. It had been a while since she saw any young wolves. She often thought that the nobles got to them all. She sighed softly.
She didn’t see this youngen as a threat, no worries floated in his head. She turned to her wounds and started to clean it. It had already been healing, she could sense it. Her eyes opened, as her tongue curled up against her wound, she looked over, and the young wolf had been laying next to her, staring at her. She stopped and got up, shaking her body, her fur flying as she stood up. The scent of another wolf seemed to give her own energy.
”No. They will not. Not as long as I can breathe. “

As he felt her shift her own head to remain in contact with his, he felt his tail raise a bit. Almost as if it wanted to give the faintest wag. In all honesty, she held a menacing atmosphere, giving him the feeling of accomplishment that she hadn't ripped him apart by now - let along returning his gesture in her own way.
Then she stood, and Tanjun's soft gaze followed her movements, down to even the shift of her fur. Energy seemed to seep back into her, and her wound seemed much better off now.
"No. They will not. Not as long as I can breathe."
Now he smiled, his lobes flicking and lifting further from his skull. Getting onto his own paws, he felt nice. A pleasant feeling again grasping him. It seemed he could rejuvenate a few wolves. Occasionally. So far, the world seemed to deflated, and yet, sometimes, somehow, he seemed to give others hope. Actually, he couldn't even recall a time when he doubted his hopes and beliefs. Perhaps that was the reason. Why he tended to give the hopeless at least that faint spark of hope. Even if it seemed vain, he still believed. Maybe that was why the world needed to be brighter. He smiled at her. "Then you'll be breathing for a long, long time."Maybe faith was what the world really needed. [/blockquote]

She stared to him, as he seemed to care for her. She smiled a wolf like grin and slowly transformed into her human form, the blood hadn’t been noticeable at all. She had been dark of a girl then she was as a wolf. Her hair had been pulled out of her face, and the black hair seemed to blend in to her out fit. She smiled down to his wolf form.
She was a short of a girl. She seemed to be able to stand her ground very well though. Her eyes were not a brilliant blue in this form, but a dull coal, but she held so much pride with in them, she had been pretty though, and she ran her hands over his fur. Her eyes staring down to him, she was as pale as the moon. But she had been pretty as ever.
She still kept her angry aura, as if she didn’t care. He couldn’t see the noble markings in her noble form, and it would make him wonder how? She blinked and realized she hasn’t introduced herself. ”Sythe.” she spoke to him, and gripped her clothes, hiding the wound that had started to dry up. She walked towards the entrance of the alley way, as if all she was going to do is introduce herself and leave.
Maybe that was what she was going to do. ”Becareful you.” she warned. Before looking back to him, and giving a soft smile. She had been bad company to some and she was just trying to keep the wolf pup safe. Especially since she was always on the run, it was her destiny to race the rising sun. She would only sleep when she made it to paradise.
She looked up and the sun had been rising slowly. She was born in a dangerous section, but now...she would no longer serve the nobles. Behind the good. She looked back to the alley way as she walked. That was where she stood. Until the day she died. She had been a rebel soul, always had been always will be. She looked away as the sun beamed on her, she hid her head, facing down at the ground as people started to go to their jobs.

He watched her as she transformed, her human form taking over now and blending in with the shadows and monochrome alleyway. It was just her snow white skin that caused her to almost radiate a presence in the shadows. Blinking, he examined her for a second, before smiling back up at her. "You're still very pretty," he remarked rather innocently. Coming from his fairly young seeming jowls, it was nothing more than a compliment through friendship, and chances were, she knew that. He was just unaware that sometimes, those words could be taken the more mature, wrong way.
His little cranium tilted to the side, however, as he noticed that her markings weren't there in her human form. That was odd. But probably helped her out quite a bit. If a noble ever saw a marked human, they would probably instantly recognize an experiment and stride to immediately capture it.
He felt her run her hands through his fur, and he closed his orbs for a moment, smiling softly at the comfortable feel. 'Sythe.' His lobes flicked, a confused look dominating his golden gaze as it snapped open to glance up at her. But then he brightened a tad, realizing, that must be her name!
Tail almost wagging, he responded rather gleefully, "Tanjun."And then he noticed she seemed prepared to leave. At least it seemed she was probably able to do well on her own. But still, he had hoped she wouldn't leave so soon. 'Be careful you.' A light chuckle escaped him, as he too transformed to his human disguise. Adjusting the beige cap upon his head, he unruffled his deep blonde hair, feeling some strands tickle his forehead and back of his neck. Patting his hat lightly, he glanced up at her with deep blue eyes. Finally nodding, he replied simply, "You too." Then, he gave her a quick and careful, barely able to be felt, embrace. Taking a few steps back, he tilted his head in a faint dip of a bow, "We'll meet again soon. I promise." And as he turned away, on his own path, it was as if he was determined to entwine their destinies. [/blockquote]
