Mina… Mina… Something was calling out to her. This way… Mina… Who was this? What was this? She had to find whatever this was. She had to find what was forcing her legs to move and what was calling out to her.
Mina… She was running. There was a light up a head; a bright blue light that resembled the light of the sky above. Her legs seemed as if they were drawn towards the light. They moved quickly and swiftly. Her nose was on fire; the scent was getting closer and closer. She could feel it in her heart. Something amazing was to happen.
Mina… Mina…
Mina woke with a start, quickly sitting up from where she had been laying on the ground. Silver hair covered her face and for a few moments she seemed lost. The dream, how real it felt. If she had been in her wolf form, her paws would have been shaking as she ran in her sleep. To take caution, however, the wolf had slept in her human form.
Pulling her hair from her eyes, Mina stood up from the ground. She brushed off her black skirt and straightened out her black shirt. The back of her hand rubbed her eyes as she leaned back against a large boulder.
How long had she slept? The sky was now fading to a dark blue. Her nap had been for a few hours. She could no longer waste anymore time. Her dream had consumed her, so it would seem, and had caused her to stay asleep for longer than she had anticipated. Paradise was calling her again, and she had to follow her nose.
The wolf walked over to the stream, kneeling down and drinking from the water. She could not remember when she had her last meal, but this did not matter to her. What mattered to her was following her nose and allowing her legs to guide her. If the opportunity to eat came to her, she would take it, but for now she would wait.
Mina perked her head up, her ears twitching slightly. There had been a noise. Someone else was in the canyons. She could hear rocks being disturbed. Whoever or whatever was there was coming towards her direction. The wolf was in no mood to deal with confrontation. In her mind, she had already decided the noise had come from a hunter.
Quickly, the female wolf ran off away from the stream and in the direction she had been traveling. Whatever was in the canyon, Mina did not want to find. She wanted no trouble.

The soft wind howled as it moved through the canyons, the soft crunching of the summer green grass echoed, a small trail of flatten grass. Two eyes focused on a rabbit, a wolf figure crouched down. The ears up high as the figure walked to it slowly before leaping. A snarl emitted from deep in its throat, though the rabbit was too quick and zoomed off. A small growl came from the beasts throat. The wolf was small, showing its sex to be female, a teen she-wolf.
The she-wolf walked to bushes, as she had smelled water and... whats this? This was a rather different scent, it smelled like... another wolf! Someone of her own kind! Her tail wagged as she tried to walk out of the bush, the rustling sound of the bushes scared off the wolf, the first and possibly the last chance Rei could ever talk to another wolf, her wagging stopped as her ears fell, with her eyes downcasted. She was severely disappointed. A small sigh escaped the females lips as she walks over to the stream and lapped up the cool refreshing water as her ears twitched, high up and alert of any unusual sounds.

Mina paused in her running. Something told her to stop and look back. No hunter trailed after her. No, that was not what made the noise in the brush. Another animal, perhaps, but no human treaded after her. The wolf put her fears to rest as she let out a sigh.
Deep inside of her, something urged her to return to where she had been to see what had been coming her direction. If it wasn’t a hunter, then she had no worries. As long as no gun was being fired at her, Mina could handle whatever was coming her way.
Swiftly, the female wolf trotted back in the direction she had ran away from. Her eyes soon were fixed upon another wolf who seemed to have her own disappointments over something. This wolf was younger than Mina and drank from the stream.
Mina sat down, ears perked up as she watched the younger of her species drink from the stream of the canyon. She kept herself quiet, not wanting to disturb this wolf. Perhaps the more petite female wolf would be kind like some of the others Mina had the fortune of running into. The younger ones seemed more willing to make friends instead of enemies.
