I'm not superhuman
Personality:Takeshi tends to be cold and sarcastic toward all the people he meets. He never tries to create relationships with anyone because he doesn’t see how he would gain anything from them. The creature that he seems to show any kindness for is Tsume. But because of the trauma that Takeshi experienced in his childhood, the boy holds and intense hatred for wolves and all those associated with them. After discovering the existence of the Flower Maidens, he is now beginning to not only hunt wolves but them as well, not believing that the creatures are worthy of such a place named “Paradise”.
Takeshi boasts himself as being an excellent strategist and weapons expert. At times, he may be so confident in his abilities that arrogance overtakes him and his actions. He keeps his cool and is level headed under tense situations but if he ever loses a wolf that he is hunting, Takeshi’s arrogance causes his temper to flare and he begins to behave more erratically and viciously. He does not give up a hunt until he has either captured his prey, or he himself has been incapacitated.
History:: Takeshi was born in Angeles Caidosse City and grew up in the slums of the city. His mother died while giving birth so that left the to his father’s guardianship. Though Arashi was not used to caring for a small child, he tried his best to sate Takeshi’s every need and gave him as much love as the man could give. Though he arrived home tired and weary from a long day of work, the father always had time to spend playing with his son. Takeshi knew all that his father did for him and loved him greatly for it and tried his best to make his father happy and smile after a long day of work at his failing mech repair shop. Even though Takeshi spent most of his days at home alone, he always greeted his dad with a grin and forgot his loneliness. Arashi then came home on the day of Takeshi’s eleventh birthday holding a cage in his hand and inside was a small golden eagle chick. Takeshi leapt with joy as his father told him that he had gotten it as payment from a customer and thought that Takeshi could keep it as a companion. Eagerly agreeing, the boy decided to name the bird “Tsume” which meant “talon”.
Three years later, while Takeshi was training Tsume, he heard some noise in the back alley behind their apartment and wandered out to see what the ruckus was about. He saw a group of boys around his age beating up a smaller boy who appeared to be no more than eleven. Angry that they would pick on a boy so young, Takeshi picked up a trashcan lid and flung it like a discus, causing it to slam in to the head of the bigger boy, who seemed to be their leader. Unfortunately, the blow that the lid had made was not enough to knock out the boy, but simply make him angrier and now direct his rage toward Takeshi. Takeshi picked up another trashcan lid as the group of boys came closer and held it up like a shield in front of him. The attack on Takeshi began and though he tried to fight them back, the two associates grabbed Takeshi and held him in place. Their leader then reared back his fist and slammed it across Takeshi’s face, causing the boy to see stars and taste blood in his mouth. As he looked back up, another blow came but this one slammed into Takeshi’s nose and judging by the deafening crack and the river of blood that ran over his lips, it appeared as if the great brute had broken his nose.
Suddenly, a cry rang out and the leader turned in time to see the small boy leap into the air and kick the leader directly in his nose, saying a broken nose for a broken nose. Noticing that the two goons who had his arms were startled by the young boy’s reappearance, Takeshi whipped his arms out of their grasp and shoved them into the trashcans. Grabbing the young boy’s hand, Takeshi ran out of the alley and down the front of his street. Hearing the trashcans clanging, he knew that the bullies would be in hot pursuit unless they hid. Pulling the boy into his apartment and locking the door, Takeshi took a deep breath of relief and slid slowly to the floor. When Takeshi looked at the other boy, he saw that he was sprawled on his back on the rug causing him to burst out laughing. The other boy laughed as well and sat up quickly and introduced himself, saying his name was Syaoran. Takeshi told his name as well and the two became fast friends. He tried to introduce Syaoran to Tsume, but the bird seemed afraid of the boy for some reason… After finding out that the bullies had left, the two went out into the back alley again and began tossing a ball to each other. Though it was a simple game, Takeshi noticed that Syaoran was incredibly quick and whenever Takeshi thought he threw the ball too high, the young boy was always able to leap up and catch it. Before long, the sky had darkened and Takeshi remembered that his father would be home soon and decided he might as well ask Syaoran if he wanted to stay for dinner. His new friend promptly agreed and as soon as Arashi walked through the door, Takeshi introduced Syaoran to him. But for some odd reason, his father did not give his usual warm smile when he met a new person. He moved between Takeshi and Syaoran and reached into one of the drawers, retrieving a handgun, holding it down by his side.
Takeshi yelled at his father, asking him why he was doing this and Arashi gravely replied that the new friend that Takeshi had made was a wolf in disguise and if anyone found out he had been there, they would be in great danger. Arashi lifted the gun and pointed it at Syaoran, telling him that if he did not leave, he would kill him. In a flash, a wolf appeared where Syaoran had been and it leapt at Arashi. Though the man fired bullets at the beast, it deftly dodged them and leapt onto the man, pinning him down. The wolf stared into the terrified man’s eyes for a second then sank it’s teeth into Arashi’s neck, causing the man to gurgle in pain because of the blood rushing up his windpipe. Syaoran then reappeared before Takeshi’s eyes and backed away from Arashi as the boy ran to his father. Syaoran’s bloody mouth apologized over and over, saying that he had not meant to do it. Takeshi took the handgun into his shaking and bloody hand and turned toward Syaoran, emptying the guns remaining bullets into the boy’s body and watched as it took it’s wolf form once again and collapsed to the floor, a pool of blood growing over the rug. Takeshi then returned his attention back to his father, who seemed to have gone into shock from the blood loss. Placing his hands upon the neck wounds with tears streaming down his cheeks, Takeshi watched as his father died right in front of him.
During Arashi’s funeral, Takeshi kept silent and the smile that he had once held upon his was lost forever to the darkness that had overtaken his soul. The darkness created by the wolf that had killed his only family. Takeshi soon took employ under Darcia as a Hunter, and stayed in Angelese Caidosse City to hunt out any remaining wolves that remained in and around the city. Over the five years that followed, Takeshi grew colder and more secluded to the world around him. He taught Tsume to spot wolves as she flew over the city and to circle over the spots where they were. While going through his father’s possessions, he found another handgun identical to the other and decided he would use both while hunting the filthy savages who were the reason he was so alone. It was almost as if it were a divine justice… He would not let them reach this so called “Paradise” because he did not think such a place was worthy of the disgusting murderers. And so began the life of Takeshi the Hunter…
