The year is 1889 and London is on the cusp of ushering in a new era. Steam power is widely used to fuel various transports and machinery but it has exploded in the last several decades. H. G. Wells and Jules Verne pioneered the science fiction drama of innovative science and technology and man today, has built upon these once fantastical works of fiction. The Second Industrial Revolution is far from over and with the introduction of electrification in the past few years, new and impossible inventions have surfaced.
But not everything is all and well. There is something the public is unaware of, slowly rising from the criminal underground and the depths of depravity. Creatures of lore and stories have stepped from their pages into the real world. To combat the growing wicked, a group of individuals gifted with abilities that far supersede the human spectrum have banded together.
Welcome to Gaslamp Spectral, a RPG set in the Victorian era of London where the supernatural is growing, heroes and villains are rising and technology is leaping forward.
