He lied in his portable bed in the Ocology room, his head going around in circles as he was a desperate man. Why was he feeling so sick, had he not achieved anything in this life. He felt at deaths door gripping him. Everybody had said that it was because of the alcohol yet they were liars the lot of them. He needed someone , preferably a woman someone who he could talk to. But there was no one in this castle , and also the weapons manufacturer would arrive soon with his present.
He was excited to try the weapon out. But for the meantime simple chatter would do, and plan. Maybe he should follow his frock more closely, and root out those who were against him to punish them and kill them. He could not have a rebellion forming under his nose, it was just not kosher. He would have rather wanted to hear their screams and please for mercy. That would cheer him up, but then again the reminder of lack of company mostly in the female part had made him decay more and more into depression.
Though he would not tell anybody about this, they would think he was weak.

Peri entered Darcia’s castle. He had a delivery to make to the Lord Darcia himself, and the weapons specialist took no time in navigating through the building. At his side floated a little carrier that held the box which contained the noble’s new weapon. Peri operated the little hover cart with a controller that was held with finely polished pink fingertips.
The mechanic thought he had fixed himself up quite nicely today for the visit to the noble. He wore a baby blue button up collared shirt that had a very low-key silver pattern. Over the shirt was a silver vest that was button up nicely, of course. His wore tight light blue jeans that went down to silver boots. His teal hair was in its usually mess with a few hair clips in it. He smelled good, looked good, and was definitely ready to deal with Lord Darcia.
One of Darcia’s servants stepped forward to show Peri where Darcia was, and Peri accepted the help graciously. The servant led him to the Arcology before leaving the mechanic. Peri could handle the meeting alone. He didn’t need servants helping him along.
“Lord Darcia, I come with that weapon you wanted,” Peri said as he neared where the noble lay in the room. “I hope I’m not disturbing you.”

Darcia looked up at the soft voice of a man, a smile creeping up to him as he looked up to see Peri, he was glad to see him again. It made his spirits feel a little bit more brighter, and what was this that he was holding in his hands. A gift for him,why he should not have. But then again, he was actually happy to have someone smart in his company for once. " Thank you so much Peri, please sit down join me for something refreshing" he told the boy and started to stand up as he picked up the bell and rang for servants while he stood and walked over to his desk that he had also installed in the room.
" So tell me was it hard to make it, will it be possible to achieve trapping a wolf with these weapons and if so then can I ask you for more" he told the boy, and cocked his head to study the face and the way he was dressed so perfect he was it was a little bit hard to take in. Those pink eyes seemed to glimmer more when in his presence , but maybe he waqs also dreaming who knew.

The mechanic sat down on Darcia’s request and relaxed against his seat. It had been a while since their last meeting, and that one had been pretty interesting. Somehow, though, the noble seemed to be a bit different. He was lacking that demented confidence, and instead he was showing a troubled weakened mind.
Peri played with the remote control, causing his hovering cart to drop onto the ground. “It wasn’t too difficult for me to construct,” Peri said as he looked over to Darcia once more. “I am expert, though. I could only imagine that the regular weapon maker would have more than enough trouble in trying to make your requests. You should be glad you came to me. I am the best at what I do.”
A bit arrogant? Yes, and Peri knew he was being as such. But he couldn’t help his cockiness when it came to his weapon making and his repairs. Most people would not have been able to even decipher Darcia’s plans, but Peri was able to. People came to him for the best quality around, of course.
“You can definitely come to me with more weapon ideas. I am sure you will enjoy the quality of my work.” The weapons specialist flashed a smile.

He looked at the mechanic as he sat down and sighed, finally someone to accompany him. Their last meeting had been mostly about him questioning his abilities. But now inspecting his work, he had to say that he would turn to a normal client. Hearing the boy said that it was no trouble at all constructing the machine, he chuckled and started to stand up and knelt down to uncover it. It was in one word, perfect a mixture between good and evil, holy and saintly. This man, this weapons manufacturer would be in his prime business before he knew it. The man then would be flooded with money, and he could get prettier every time with the riches that would flow through his bank account.
Standing up he placed the machine on his bed, and sighed raising his hand to his face as he rubbed his eyes. “ Of course I will, I have even more projects for you yet my Peri” he told the young man, and beamed as he slid his hand gently across his hair and patted his head. It was a gesture of thanks, nothing more if the man thought otherwise then he would be slaughtered. No questions asked , and no pleas either. Turning around , he grabbed the chair as he sat down and started to study the piece of Machinery.
“ Care to show me , how it works” he asked shyly to his specialist.

Peri took the weapon. It was gun like in structure and sat on his arm as if it was meant to be there. The mechanic had situated the gun on his left arm, his index finger resting gently on the trigger. He reached up with his free hand and pressed a hidden button, causing straps to wrap around his left arm.
“It’s not too complicated,” Peri said as he adjusted a few things on the gun. “It’s meant to be easily used, but that doesn’t mean anyone can just pick up the gun and know how to use it.”
He pulled the gun up against his shoulder. His right hand moved along the gun, pressing a few quick buttons. A scope popped up, and the mechanic looked through it. “The scope can detect heat and is capable of showing if a wolf is in disguise. It is mainly for people who have an untrained eye to seeing beasties.”
Peri looked back over to Darcia and gave a slight smile. “I tend not to use scopes. I don’t like getting my face too close to the gun.” The mechanic pulled out a pair of pink glasses from his pocket and placed them over his eyes. “Which is why I made these. I can see differences in body temperature and wolves with these glasses.”

He shifted positions as he stood up and placed himself next to the boy, his hand covering his mouth as he studied the weapon closely. It was an impressive piece of work, but now he was just in need of some Instructions.
Darcia looked at the boy as he started to explain the process of the weapons function. He was glad that it was not to complicated, he hated all of the complications with every weapon. He just wanted one that he could manage himself, but then again he had also asked Peri to design it But his mind was flooding with questions if he had indeed asked the boy to add that feature.
" Peri it is an excellent job, but I am more curious of what will happen when the wolf gets a hold of it " he asked sitting up and started to reach out for his glasses, a curious design. He would probably ask for one pair, but with the heat sensory that he had added to the weapon it would be good enough for now.
" I will be commissioning some of those glasses my pretty. If you think they will help of course" he added and bowed down as she retired sighing, he was curious of so many things. Conspiracies flying around his head , what was true and what was false. That was what he wanted to know.

The mechanic took off the rose tinted glasses and handed them to Lord Darcia. “I think the glasses are useful for eyes that cannot see wolves right away,” Peri said with a slight nod. “But I can definitely make you a few so you can have them in your possession.”
Peri unstrapped the weapon from his arm with a click of a hidden button. He held out the weapon to Darcia with a slight smile. “You don’t have to worry about wolves getting a hold of my weapons or creations. Though wolves are highly adaptable, I doubt they would be able to handle my creations. And, if a wolf or a beast were to touch a weapon like this gun would instantly shut down.”
The weapon specialist gave a cocky little smirk. He wasn’t just good with repairs, but his technology surpassed some of the leading scientists. There were sensors on the gun that could also detect body temperature and even differences in skin cells. He could program his weapons to do exactly was he wanted them to do. It was just his lucky day when Darcia came into his shop. He knew his pockets would be overflowing with money after this was all said and done.
Peri had no problem with working for a noble. He’d rather help Darcia, though, over Oakum. He didn’t blame Oakum for what happened to his sister, but those laboratories haunted his mind from time to time. Darcia’s castle only filled him with curiosity and not horror.
